So Trump Is President. What Now?

In the apparent wake of the 2016 elections, many have come out almost in a shared disbelief over what has happened. I, of course, am talking about the next president of the United States: Donald Trump.  Here we have many leftists and non-sympathisers running amuck in the streets looking for trouble spouting out 'not my president'. What is a country to do?

Well we can start by calming down a little bit.  You yourself have the ability to control your own life, and no Donald Trump can really stop you.  I have to ask everyone just to confirm, did you get to work today? What about when you got home, did things feel different for the country?  Are you truly afraid for the future?

One thing worth mentioning is the President doesn't exactly have an ultimadum process when it comes to making laws.  It's not like Donald Trump can just walk into the White House and decide to overthrow the Supreme Court's decision to legalize gay marriage.  There is a process that must be done.  If the people do not like a decision, they will revolt in disgust and put in their 2 cents like every moment in history.  People who don't want to see the change happen can fight against it.  You yourself have the ability to write on this site.  You can talk to your legislators and make your voice heard.

We must always remember, as one country we stand together.  Rooting for Trump to destroy this country is like rooting for the pilot who is driving the airplane to die.  Let's keep our heads straight and do our best to accomodate our odd small-handed orange president.
