How do you make yourself a better person?

It's a tough world when you see that there is a lot of bannings of content and silence going on.  Creation of sub-communities to help promote identical ideologies.  The idea that people are able to do this is fantastic.  People are officially allowed the freedom to write to other people.  I have one critique in the face of everybody's overall satisfaction:

By sticking to a sub-community, you never expand your horizons.

So it's very nice to be recognized and find like-minded individuals.  But sometimes we need a bit of cognitive dissonance in our lives.  By introducing opposing views and melding it together, it forces people to rethink their ideologies.  That is what is important to me.  Even more important is the ability for people to write what they want, despite whether or not you would consider something offensive or disallowed.
