Photographer Creates Hilarious Photo Series Using Marvel Characters in Unique Situations

Indonesian born photographer Edy Harjo has created a series unlike any other; complex in setup yet seemingly so simple in its comedic genius. Using characters we all know and love from the Marvel and DC Universe, he has created stories far beyond those we have read in the comics or seen in recent movies. Only his creative mind could have Thor, Hulk, Wolverine, Spiderman, and even the Joker peeing against a wall in an alley. Graduating from college in 1973 as a chemical engineer, Edy's path to photography is like many of our own. Beginning one way and ending in the arts, living out dreams of creating for the sake of art. It's an incredible inspiration seeing someone push beyond the boundaries of everyday toys or collectibles on a shelf and using them to make their own stories. 

Below, see Edy create fantastic scenes using highly detailed action figures from both Marvel and DC. Scenes including the Incredible Hulk cutting Thor's hair and Batman eating alone at a cafeteria table while Marvel characters watch.
